Regulatory Context

Wisconsin administers a strong state wetland program under NR 103, which requires a state Individual Permit for wetland impacts affecting more than 10,000 sq ft (or 3,000 sq ft in certain high-quality resources) and mandates mitigation ratios that often exceed federal requirements.
